Google Input Tools makes it easy to enter text in the languages you want, when you want them.

Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 70 languages, and full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 20 different scripts.

Usage Instructions: 

When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select “Extension Options” in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards or IMEs you add to ‘Selected input tools’ can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

To use an input tool, simply click on the extension icon, select the desired language tool in the pop-up menu, then click on any text box on the web page. To turn off an input tool, click on the extension icon and select the “Turn Off” option. 


Due to security features of Google Chrome, the Google Input Tools extension will not assist with input in the address bar (omnibox), on the Chrome Web Store, or inside of other Chrome extensions. It does not currently assist with input inside of Flash applications.

Writerous: A Plug-in For Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Writer is the best word processing application to write blog posts and then publish them online on your favourite blogging platforms.

Unfortunately, Windows Live Writer does not support posting to Posterous.com, which means you can’t benefit from having the great experience of using Windows Live Writer when publishing to Posterous.

Writerous (thanks Keshav) is a plug-in for Windows Live Writer that allows the user to create their post in Live Writer and then publish it to Posterous.com. It’s a small and simple plugin that does what it says to.

Get Classic Menu and Toolbars in Office 2007 and Office 2010


Ribbon feature was one of the additions in Office 2007 and Microsoft extended it to Office 2010 (with Outlook 2010 included) with new features. But for people using the old classic menu and toolbars it might take some time to spot the features in ribbon, although we feel that ribbon is much more easier to work than menus. In case you are finding it difficult to work with ribbon menu, you can get back the Classic Menu and Toolbars in Office 2007 and Office 2010 with UBitMenu.

It will emulate / activate the Office 2003 menu in Word 2007, Excel 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 and Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010. It adds a new tab called menu and inside this tab you can see all the old classic style menus available.
